About Me
As a freelance makeup artist based in Vancouver, BC, I am thrilled to be able to pursue my passion and share it with you. Having attended many milestone events, special occasions and numerous weddings, I know not only how exciting and important those days are, but also how stressful they can be. For that reason, I make it a priority to listen to my clients and discuss together the best way to achieve the perfect look so that they feel 100% on their special day.
I am an alumna of Blanche Macdonald, one of Canada’s leading makeup schools, and I have since refined my skills and techniques for both bridal and special events.
It has been a very rewarding adventure thus far. I am the happiest when I see my clients brighten up after their makeup application because I know I have truly made their day. We all know that the happiest people are the most beautiful.
Allow me to take the stress away from you and help you put your best face forward on your many special occasions. I am also available to work on projects for photoshoots, fashion shows and special events.

Made my bm's goddesses! My bridal party hired Abby and her team to do their hair and make up the day of our wedding. We had the absolute best time with them, it felt more like girl friends just hanging out doing each other's hair and make up. Abby and her team were so professional and they worked hard. The end result was beautiful! They did a really good job at highlighting how beautiful my girls are :) highly recommend!!

I booked At First Blush for my bridal party hair & makeup and I couldn’t be happier with my decision!!! Abby was extremely prompt with answering all my questions (and trust me, there were many!) and she followed up consistently throughout the wedding planning process to ensure that everything would be executed exactly as I had envisioned for the wedding day. During the start of the wedding day, her team was extremely punctual and had everything set up in the early AM, all while me and some of my bridesmaids were still just getting out of bed! She was such a delight to have at the start of this special day, as she was very sweet and calm and I really appreciated how she connected and took the time to get to know each of us personally. Above all this, the team did an absolutely fabulous job with all the girl’s make-up and hair. Everyone’s make-up and hair style was still intact even after a good 18+ hour day - I was utterly impressed! As well, Abby was mobile and was present to do touch-ups for me before my ceremony and reception. It was so amazing to have this service with her and I would highly recommend her to all future brides & bridal parties!!!
